    Its caused by ethanol in fuel apparently and having your tank lined is one option.

    Thank you for your response I have a none blistered replacement 955i Daytona wrong colour. Do you have a name for the lining. Cheers Arnie.

    I used caswells liner, think they go under ‘Surface Monkey’ for google purposes. Seems to have helped my plastic tank. Just make sure you have the stuff nice and warm and viscous.

    Were did you get you Caswells from I have been on the web and can only get it from U.S.A postage as much as item. Cheers Arnie.

    Sorry to be a pain but the new Tank has been empty for a while I think it seems very clean inside can I apply the Caswell a straight on.They don't give what to use for plastic. Cheers Arnie.
