and wondered what hobbies / activities you have outside of motorbikes ???

My main distraction from the futility of life, is currently archery, but over the years I have been into mountain bikes (less so since discovering it's easier with a few CC's underneath me!), photography, flying kites, wood turning, sea fishing and kayaking.
I also make furniture, but mainly do that at work (woodwork/ technical/engineering teacher) to distract me from the total futility of teaching a classroom full of wee eejits !!!

funnily enough I don't seem to have time for my hobbies anymore, I used to coach mini rugby and manage rugby league team but my sons grew up and the team folded, windsurfing and sailing but not enough time, landscape photography but work gets in the way now, I do like my work so maybe I could class that as a hobby but then I have to do it so I suppose not! miserable really!!

I used to cycle a bit and still do providing there's a pub at the end of it, but since I started biking it seems that this is all consuming!

Still do some photography - I used to follow a lot of Motorsport and combined the two so now the best bet would be to start taking pictures of bikes.

I've been retired for nearly two years so it's time to indulge in pass times such as old school mechanical things like steam engines, mucking about in my emergency shelter (garage), various DIY projects when I'm told and of course my main toy:)

Sea fishing especially boats, Caithness was brilliant for that, used to crew on one of the angling boats and got loads of fishing in, not found any since I've been back though.
Collect old 60's fishing reels and rods which I still use given the chance, Intrepid Sea Streak and Surfcast my specialty.
Looking to start again given the chance but not a clue where down this part of the world.
Use to do clay pigeon shooting but the ground closed, again got loads in as I used to help out at the grounds.
    Plastic model making.
Used to love flying, got gliding licence, but again not for some time.
Now most of my time is taken up with retired Greyhounds!

My hobby is Land Rovers - buying them, refurbing 'em, taking them to Africa and back. Leading visiting off-roading punters around the local mountains. The more severe the better.

Do a Google search for "Expo JeboHatt - The Lard Way round"

A worthy choice of vehicle biglad. I've driven dozens, usually in olive drab or desert pink colour schemes. Some even had air conn systems (no windscreen, no roof, no windows, or in one case no doors).

    Here's 1 I did earlier!
This one was genuine ex Para's, had all the history, FFR, lots of radio gear still in it, 24v etc, did lots of shows down Somerset/Wiltshire way 2010-12

    ABBEY HILL 2011 055.JPG

Had about 5 Landy's through the years, this got the most attention!
Still going strong somewhere in Lancs I think, but toned down for pulling a horse box!
