Had pit bikes in the past, Been ripping up the backfill with my 94 Yamaha yz250 for about a year. Still learning. Recently bought a 2001 tt600 and was curious if anyone wanted to throw me pointers for highway riding. Going above 60 mph is new to me and this is the biggest/heaviest bike I've owned. This thing is so nibble at flying speeds but I'm still trying to learn the riding mechanics of this thrilling sensation. My high speed cornering is not rossi spec by any means, But I haven't fell off the metallic steed yet. Glad to become part of the road riding community. Cheers Squids!
Welcome Jac. Yes, the single best bit of advice I reckon. Treat everybody on the road as if they can't see you! Your practically invisible out on the roads, you will no doubt see that for yourself soon enough, so always watch that person waiting to pull out in front of you.
I've been wanting to post a picture of this build on the builder forums but all of my pictures are too big? How do I get them uploaded?
Find build progress in the projects forum. https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/shes-a-naked-trophy.28402/ been working hard on it.
Greetings, jac, and welcome to the forum! Enjoy that new-to-you bike and thanks for the photos. Good luck with the build. And enjoy the forum! There are lots of knowledgable and helpful folks on here.
Jac Welcome to the family. Someone has miss treated that beastie. Glad it is back in good hands now. Joe.
