    Hi Folks,
I'm looking to replace the banjo bolt on the front brake master cylinder on my '00 955i Daytona with one that has a bleed nipple fitted. Can anyone tell me the thread size i.e. 10m x 1.0 or 10m x 1.25.

Hello, can I ask first, why you want to replace it with one that has a bleed nipple?
I've just checked mine and the pitch is 1.25mm and M10, but I suspect all banjo bolts in M10 would have the same pitch of 1.25mm

Hi Nigel, it allows you to bleed any trapped air out of the M/cylinder.

The easiest way to bleed the front brakes and the cheapest if you have the time is to cable tie the brake lever back to the handle bar so the hydraulic system is effectively open, fill the master cylinder leaving an air gap and wait. The air naturally percolates into the master cylinder. Takes a day or so. Try it, you'll be amazed and still in pocket all but the cost of a cable tie.
