Greetings, all, from the KC area! Spring is springing, and not quickly enough! My first bike was a 1973 Honda CB360, orange tank with black and white accents, just the coolest thing I could have imagined. Since then, I've cycled through (!) more Hondas, from a 750 V-Twin to a Valkyrie, then a Gold Wing. That all ended over a dozen years ago. Then, in the Fall of '18, with semi-retirement looming, I took the plunge on a leftover '18 Vespa GTS350 (Matte Yellow), which proved to be just a "gateway bike" to last April's leftover 2019 T100 (Fusion White/Aegean Blue), which proved to be ANOTHER gateway bike to last week's leftover ('20) T120 Black. I still have 'em all and can't declare a favorite, as they're all iconic and yet very different, one from the other. I'm also a forum-hopper, and am happy to be here! Looking forward to soaking up the accumulated experience and stories!
I'm old and new to the forum as well. Sixty six years old and just purchased a Tiger 900 Rally Pro. I thought I had better do it before it's too late. Rather to have tried than to have not tried at all. Coming to you from Kentucky.
Howdy Otto If you start your own intro thread you will get a far better response, This one will get lost in Evan's thread
Greetings and welcome to the forum, Evan! I love your term "gateway bike". I understand that concept from personal experience. Please share some photos of those bikes of yours if you would. Hope you enjoy this forum!
Thanks to all of you for your warm welcomes, it's much appreciated. Sandi, it looks like you've had your bout(s) with gateway bikes, and I think I'm stealing your signature line...
