    Greetings. One more Triumph pic, this grainy one from the archives. It's 1975, Afghanistan, and we're taking a break on the road between Herat and Kandahar, or Kabul and Kandahar. I forget which. Should never have sold that bike but I needed the money. Apols if I've sent this twice. Still making my way round the site.

    Thanks for kind words. it was a long time ago. We were young and foolish, but the gods looked kindly on us. In pre-plague times, did you ever get down to The Huntsman, at Eridge, on their Tuesday bike nights?

    Yes...I haven't been there for some years but know it well. They do/ did a good annual bike show too don't they?
