Need some advice guys, preferably from someone who has installed a grab rail on a newer T100...
Apparently the two forward facing ends of this part mount to the inside of the shock mounts themselves which are threaded and ready to accept a bolt-on but it looks to me like it may be necessary to remove the rear fender in order to secure those bolts...

Has anyone done this modification lately? Does the rear fender need to come out? Seems like a DIY job but I'd hate to spend the $200 just to get totally frustrated and pissed off.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

I put one on my T100, just didn't bother attaching the front part to the frame. Seems plenty strong enough with the four mounting bolts

You basically remove the bolts holding the rear fender and let it rest on top of the rear tire. I installed mine last year, wasn't that difficult.

Yes i fitted one last year and didn't have to remove anything the bolts just squeezed in there and eventually gripped.

Thanks a lot, guys - very tight in there if you don't drop the fender but I'll play around with it. If it turns into a nightmare leaving those ends unbolted is definitely an option.

That's a real pain if you have to remove the mudguard. My Street Cup has factory cutouts in the mudguard to allow access to these bolts which is a godsend as I am often fitting and removing the factory rack.
