Featured Speedmaster My New, Well Fairly New Speedmaster

Huge Congrats! I have the same bike in a 2018 vintage. I bought mine used with just under 1000 miles, and have put about the same on it since I acquired it. I got in a short 40 mile ride yesterday, the bike always impresses me. BTW, not much is said about the paint scheme, but I absolutely love it. I was recently reading about the updates to the 2021 Speedmaster, I prefer the tank paint on the one I have over the new one. Enjoy!

 

Good looker, but I like the knee indents black. Have a 2018 with 27k on it, so looking at the big service (20,000m/32,000km) for the 3rd birthday in June.
Exceptional performance and style and torque does not stop in 6th (I run out of road or skill before hitting the limit )

 

It would not be a deal breaker at all if I wanted a new Speedmaster, I just prefer the '18-'20 pattern. I would be curious about the larger front fork. I am not an aggressive rider and doubt I would notice much difference, but good for the new owners.

I absolutely agree re the paint scheme.. Ive got a 2019.. with the Black/White wings.

 

I love my Speedmaster. It is also a 2020 and I have taken it out on some long rides, most notably riding the Natchez Trace. It's plenty zippy but compared to an FJR it isn't near as fast or smooth. However, that isn't a problem for me as my super long distance touring days are over. It would be nice if they could come up with a larger capacity tank though.

 

Enjoy 90mph/145kph regularly on the open road and 6th pulls hard to over 105mph/175kph (private road) @Gmorey
I did find the booster plug helped achieve better top end acceleration
