    Hi, all

I replaced the standard battery with Lithium one today, went from 3787g to 935g, so the bike is 2852g lighter now, or about 1.3%. Will surely notice that. :joy: But I like lithium batteries.

When I lifted the tank on the right side I saw two rubber pipes, one was connected to the tank and one was not connected.
They should both be connected to the tank, is that correct?

The manual does not mention anything about these rubber pipes, unfortunately (I think that is an oversight!).

I put the hanging one back on the pipe that comes from the tank, that line was quite short, so only reached the metal tube when I half-lowered the tank, maybe that is why it fell of (if it did).

    Cheers all.

Oh, on weekend will ride 1290R for fun, but not looking to change my nice white 1050RS.

Yes there should be 2 tubes on the tank. One is the breather and one is the overflow drain.
