Hi out there, I'm a newbie here from little ole New Zealand. I'm a very keen Triumph Triple rider, now owning my 5th Triple. Starting with the Street Triple 675 back in 2008 ?? then onto the R model in hot burnt orange. I always had a 'need' for a Speed Triple, but they were always a little too high. So the new model was launched in 2011, which I bought. Once the 'R' model came out shortly after, I just had to have that. A trade in worked well. I owned that model since 2012 & only traded it up on the 2019 RS. I did 115,000 kilometers on that model. Now with the RS just 2 years old, I've clocked up 35,000 kilometers. I'm just loving them. A real demon on wheels.
Chrissy Dougherty Welcome to the family. Great intro and thanks for sharing the great photo. The inmates here in the asylum will love the beastie and ogle for ages. And another Lady to the asylum things are looking up. Joe.
LOL... Yep, I know that feeling well. Being my 3rd Speedy, & prior to that, I had 2 Streety's. All just amazing bikes, that I just can't wipe the grin off my face either. Over the years, I've ridden up to 30,000 Kilometers each year, & sometimes in only 8-10 months. Its there to ride, & I do it.
Will start posting some of my pics from my travels. I'm ion the North Island, but I just love the South Island. Both are equally as stunning as each other, but very different.
Ok, so just some of the many adventures. East Coast. One of the most popular rides to do.... Stunning..
Its a start. That particular day we stopped for lunch & just watched the wet weather come in. Good for the boys to have another beer, & waited for it to pass over. Then the next few pics where we stayed we had the amazing Rainbow to welcome us. Settled in & the rain came in thunderstorm. The next couple days were just stunning & hot.... This was back in September 2020
Greetings, Chrissy, and a warm welcome to the forum. I'm always glad to see another woman join our forum family. And one that has a 2019 Speed Triple RS in white---just like mine. Thanks for sharing photos of beautiful New Zealand with us. Keep 'em coming, please!
Hi and welcome in Chrissy, very envious of your location and freedom to ride. SWMBO has stuck with her white Street Triple 675R thinking the Speed's a bit too heavy (doesn't know what she's missing )
