    Hi all.
I'm considering fitting a Dart screen to my newly acquired Bonneville Scrambler. Can anyone advise whether it will noticeably improve the handling at higher speeds, ie less buffeting from wind?

I have one on my speedmaster, think it takes a bit of wind of my chest but helmet still takes a buffeting. Not sure if there are different sizes but it would need to be bigger than the one I fitted. But I like the look:p:p

Ta for the reply Windy. Dart screens do three different sizes for my bike and I'll go for the largest ( which isn't really that large). I expect some improvement at 60mph +, but it's also about the aesthetic too.
    Regards.

In my experience of screens, they only create more noise round your head. I had a scrambler 1200 and tried the triumph fly screen, larger touring screen, and a massive givi screen. All 3 with and without a spoiler attached on top. All of them were awful! Very noisy buffeting round the head.
Everyone is different though. I hate screens for that reason. Also had the same problems with a tiger 800.

Don't let me put you off though. Like I say, everybody's different when it comes to screens. I've just never had any success with them. There are many advantages too, less pressure on your chest, and less dead insects stuck to your jacket!

Mate of mine has a BMW adventure bike, think it took him 3 screens to get it sorted out.
