Dear fellow members... Most of you do not know me at all, but quite a few I have had the great pleasure to meet on 2 GMUs. And to be honest, these were some of the greatest holidays of my life. (yeah, yeah, I am overdoing it... But I really had some fun ) This forum has changed. And while we stride forward, there are too many empty spaces in the ranks... I do not feel the same affection anymore, when signing in, as I did before the great WhatsApp war. Be it, what it is. I asked Wayne to delete my account in a private message and I would like to take this last opportunity to say farewell to you all. Keep riding and enjoying your bikes. And try to cope with whatever life throws into your paths. It has been a good time. All the best, Daniel
Take care Winglad, you’ll be missed! And I know what you mean... there is just a bit too much snide one-up’manship for my liking... I don’t mind a bit of piss-taking, but the continuing personal digs are getting wearing (and they aren’t even aimed at me ... I think?) C’mon boys, rise above and start over please!
I know what you’re saying Daniel but I’m gonna stay here and I wish you would reconsider mate I have met you twice and thoroughly enjoyed your company The gaps will filled out with new members mate and lots of other members that disappeared have come back
You will be sorely missed, Daniel! I do wish you would consider staying on as part of this forum community. I agree with dilli that those gaps you referred to will be filled by new members of whom there are many. And other members have returned. I am hopeful that you will be one of them, my friend.
Take care of yourself Daniel! It was great to have met you in person.... And don't forget the German trees
Your call Daniel, you don't need me to tell you you'll be missed. But since this may be the last chance, I wish to once more thank you on behalf of all who went for your outstanding work and practical help on our German trip in 2018. Without your input it would have been far less fun and I guess much more difficult for the rest of us. Mind how you go
Take time out Daniel but don't leave mate, realise your reasons are valid but don't be so final too many friends here for that, Time out, reconsider and always keep the door open, as no matter what it will be - wide open with lights and bunting if you require that mate, your a good man.
Take care Daniel. Its been great knowing you and thanks for all the work you did for the Germany trip.
I wish you weren't going my friend - this place won't be the same without you. Let's hope we can meet up again for another German tour and I can amuse you with my appalling German!
Sorry you're leaving Daniel, it's been nice meeting you in the past, you're a great guy and I was hoping we could all meet up again sometime in Germany. I think we all had a great time in Bad Bertrich and you looked after us very well. I sincerely hope you decide to stay.
I’m shocked! We’ve had some good times together Daniel, let’s hope this is be a temporary blip for a short period as you’ve been less of a big poster but more of a ‘Quality’ contributer. Stay in touch via Email. Eric
Shame you have to go Daniel... I have never met you but have noticed your absence just lately as said leave the door open mate things can always change.
Only just seen this thread and like all have said I will miss seeing you on the forum. I really enjoyed the German trip and like @andypandy and the others on the trip haves said we all had hoped we would have been able to do it again. I'm not sure if you will see this before you go, so what ever you end doing going forward, good luck and stay safe mate
I just wrote a confirmation-p.m. to Wayne to delete my account, and since I am online here for the last time, I’d like to thank you all for your kind words and your company in the past few years and at the GMUs. It was a good time, but now it is time for me to move on. Farewell! Daniel
