Hi All I am not only a newbie to this group but also a newbie to Triumph. I moved to the UK from South Africa some 12 years ago having had my fair share of bikes from Bridgestone 90 (Yes, honestly!), Yamaha XJ750, 1200 Bandit, 1000 Fireblade, Hyabusa, BMW GS and BMW GSA. The latter did over 60,000kms of adventure riding in some serious off road routes. Since moving here I have had a BMW R1100S, liquid cooled BMW GS, Harley XR1200 and Harley Sportster 1200 (both written off in hit and runs!!), BMW R1150R roadster and now finally I have swapped the R1150R for a 2002 Triumph ST Sprint 955i 2002 model with 15,000 miles. I am a huge fan of adventure riding and I take chaps from the UK each November to SA to ride those iconic routes (See my website: www.vukaafrica.co.uk) But the current pandemic has put a temporary halt to these. So decided to get my next fix on a great traditional British bike. I am sure I did the right thing !! Cheers Mike
Welcome to the forum, Mike, and to the wonderful world of Triumph! Looking forward to seeing some photos of your Sprint. Hope you enjoy the forum.
Welcome! Great bike, I just found fuel gauge accuracy and ECU to be the only issues when I had one. They look, sound and ride, just great.
