So today I lowered my headlights and clocks by 50mm in about 30 minutes for £55!
Next time I have it out of the workshop I'll take an after pic and match it to a before pic for comparison! Looks a bit meaner though (if that's even possible).

So it's a Dame Edna with glasses perched on the end of her nose look? ;):D
Guessing you've added a block with two holes at the frame mount? Details please, any problems with wiring or airflow to the airbox?:)
How about view to instruments and wind protection now the fly screen is lower (not that we had much to start with).
Sounds cool , may be even lower than the new 2016?
Considered doing something with the lights myself, used to prefer the earlier round lights but the "Edna's" have grown on me a bit now. Keeping a look out for some cool LED's, a pair of twin round (slightly smaller than originals) with angel eye running lights would be ideal.
    Something like this may be.

These made me smile... can't get the idea of an illuminated bra out of my head now.:D:D

I much prefer the modern look of the fox eyes!
Much easier than you think to do this. Use the bracket off a street triple r. That's it! Airflow is unchanged as far as I can tell and visibility of the clocks is the same.
Wind deflection is as good as it ever is!!!
I have the part number somewhere for the bracket.

    Looking good Robin. :D
Any chance of a 3/4 view so we can see from the front too?
Think you need to start saving for the black anodised brake reservoir now! :)
(I fitted them to mine front and rear, but think doing the rear is a bit of a waste of time/money, it's not all that noticeable.)
See you've fitted black levers...me too.
Black bikes are definitely faster. ;)

Yep anodised reservoir this year (not sure about not seeing the reservoir levels though). And some flush indicators. Both will have to wait til I get back from a road trip to Croatia in June!
Would like to see what's out there for headlight upgrades keeping the fox eyes?

There's a small sight window at the bottom, but granted it's next to useless.
I went for the Triumph LED indicators, nice quality.
Yes, been to Slovenia & Croatia, you'll enjoy. Some nice roads ....and some rough ones. Still see abandoned burnt out houses full of bullet holes from their troubled past:(, but was about 10 years ago now!

I am considering the mod for lowering the headlights, as described here, as well.

However... I am 1m96 tall (that is 6 feet and 6 inch) which means already in standard setup I have quite some headwind, despite the fly screen, at higher speeds.

What would be the effect of lowering the headlights to wind - any tall riders here with experience?

Hey there just a quick question over lowered lights, is it just the bracket that's needed? Can u use existing bolts? , cheers Jimmy

Hiya bud sorry for taking so long replying, just the bracket, used the existing rubber mounts out of the original bracket and it was a straight swap over. haven't noticed any more head wind but didn't find the original screen much use anyway haha!:D

As mentioned above not particularly noticed any more head wind but im only 6ft and haven't taken it over 80-90mph. Slight headlight beam re-adjustment as it was much lower after the new bracket. Think its one of those mods you only notice on your own bike though unless its parked side by side to another speedie.
