The C was originally for competition bikes for the US market only fitted with off road tyres, high level or underframe open pipes and no lights basically on both TR6 and T120 models. Then in 66 it all changed and the C from 67 on was only used on the TR6 models as a watered down off road/trial bike with high level exhausts, road tyres and lights.
Welcome to the forum, Martin! As you can see, there are lots of friendly and helpful folks to be found here. Looking forward to seeing photos of your bike when you get photo posting sorted. Another way you can post a photo or screen shot is put it on your desktop then just drag it onto the body of your post wherever you want to place it. Then scroll down just a bit and you'll see a thumbnail of the image. Next to it it says FULL IMAGE. Click on that, wait for it to load, then clock POST REPLY. Again, welcome in!
Martin Skura. Welcome to the family. Yes do just hit the upload a file bottom right corner and let the inmates here see the steeds. Joe.
Martin Skura Thanks it is beautiful and I love it. Great stuff to you keeping it running and looking so good. Happy Christmas. Joe
Thank you very much. I'm surprised you can tell the handlebars from the picture .they are really comfortable. I had them bent that way.
Welcome, Marty. Thanks for posting a pic of your '70 TR6... beautiful! Saying hello from Georgia and not envying your Michigan winter. Hope you enjoy the forum.
Thank you very much. Yes I would love to be in Georgia this time of year. Two years ago my son and Daughter in law went to Savannah in March and had a nice time. I just love those homes downtown. I was a residential real estate developer for quite a few years.
