Hi, I’m going to be pulling the liners on a T595 in the coming days, and was wondering about sealant recommendations for reseating them?

There appears to be a few different suggestions, from Hylomar Blue to Threebond 1215, with both of these having temperature ranges up to 250 degrees.

I like the idea of no time pressures re clamping down when using H. Blue, but what are your thoughts and ideas on the best product for the job?

I guess I could use Hylomar Blue on all the other gaskets too (head exc)?

    Many thanks in advance.

I used Threebond as that was what is recommended in the Triumph workshop manual.
Not had any issues since completing the job.

Do make sure to clean up the liners thoroughly too before resealing.

Many thanks for responding...often all that is needed is the reassurance of someone who’s already walked the path. Much appreciated
