    Can anyone who's ridden both give their real world impressions of the differences?

    I know what the dynos say. Am looking more for 'butt dyno' input .... is the horsepower difference really noticeable? Is the low end and torque impressive compared to the older model? What about ride quality? Suspension more comfy on bumpy roads while keeping that scalple-like turning? More comfy seat, pegs, bars, etc?

    A great bike just got better. The clutch is a lot more tollerant of harsh downshifts and makes scary severe uphill starts a breeze. Still getting used to it but yes more useable power and torque on my 2020 R Low. The 675 seemed to bog down trying to get away on steep inclines (I live in the Alps) so pretty often needing lots of high revs and manic clutch slipping. The 765 just gets up and goes no fuss and I can even flat foot with the low unlike the 675 which entailed sliding off the seat to touch down securely. Hate the stupid long numberplate mount. A tail tidy is on the xmas present list.

    Late to the party as I missed you OP mate, I had a RS with all the bells & whistles, I have read that the 765R is a better road bike but have never ridden one, so would suggest a test on both models.

    I owned a 675R first, the 765RS did everything a bit better, not massively just more refined without losing the character of the model it replaced, it also looks a bit nicer IMHO, have a look at a thread I did after owning it for a while;

    I've ridden the 765rs alot but I'd not trade my 675 in for one, as it's not 6000 pounds better.

    I can't imagine the standard 765s model to be anywhere near as good as the older version.

    You say that about any new model vs the outgoing one, it's not worth the difference ......

    Apart from the Rocket eh Pete? :p
