Antifreeze Change

    Hi guys and girls sorry all the questions but want to make sure my triumph st 1050 is up to scratch. Would you use this anti freeze for your anti freeze
    change alot cheeper than triumph.

    TRIPLE QX Red (Ready Mixed) Antifreeze/Coolant 5Ltr
    Ready Mix Ethylene glycol based Antifreeze, incorporating the latest in Organic Acid Technology (OAT) with winter protection up to -36 C upon dilution

    • Red (Ready Mixed) Antifreeze/Coolant - 5ltr
    • Suitable for all engine types conforming to British Standards BS6580 (2010) and VW G-12/TL-774D & VW G-12+/TL-774F, MAN 248 & MAN 324, MB 325.3, Renault 41-01-002.

    Welcome to the family. Don't see why not it does the same job and most are now produced with ally heads in mind. I myself use Blucol ready mixed.

    That’s the stuff - supposedly Shell’s unattributed budget range and identical to the branded stuff they make in quantities they can’t sell at full price.
    Organic Acid Technology is designed to prevent the corrosion you get inside both iron and alloy blocks. It is only an issue with (much) older engines that use yellow metals (brass etc.,) in water pumps, core plugs etc.
