    Hi BP, and welcome in to the Triumph Playground. Is that somewhere near Campbell Square, or off the Welly road?

    Yes it is... Good spot! You should see the Bonnie about very soon. Need to fit the new seat, get it mapped and replace the rear tail light. My friend carried out the work and did an amazing job! Very talented chap!

    Hi BP, we lived in Kingsthorpe from 1996 to mid 2002. Lots of good things about it, some bad. Then moved to France where we live now.

    Just out of interest do you ever go on bike get-togethers? We're having one this year in August if you fancy meeting up with other Triumph owners, see here :

    Hi buddy, no not got one on at the moment. Only just got the bike back. My friend has designed a bracket to come off the rear shock that is being fabricated.

    Changing the seat, rear light, adding the number plate and changing the rear light as I'm having a bracket made for the other one.

    Trying to get my bike booked in for an arrow 2-1 map but the local dealership is proving difficult to say the least.

    Hey thanks for this...
    What would I need to get?
    I take it I would purchase the map, buy the cable and plug my bike into the PC and down load?

    Have you done this before?

    Cheers

    Hi BP, I did this with a TTP map for my 2010 T100. Was straightforward to do and the results were great.

    Yes BP,I did it myself. I bought the cable from TTP and apparently the way they send the map out it nowadays includes a 'loader' so makes it even easier.

    I did it on my Thrux, bought relevant map from TTP, comes over Internet with loader so don't need tuneecu, cable bought from TTP came by post! Dead simple to do, call em if you're not sure if map!

    Hi BP,just a quick thought.If you are going to do a re-map, it would make sense to do all the popular mods at the same time, to optimise performance and use of dosh !!!

    Mods like:

    1. De AI - remove the Air Injection system;

    2. De O² sensors - remove the O² sensors;

    3. De Trumpet - remove the flexible rubber air inlet on the air box cover;

    4. De-baffle - remove the airflow restricting baffle plate;

    5. Install "Breathe" air filter cover;

    6. Install DNA airfilter.

    Have a look here for further info :

    Hi BP,
    I know I`m late to this post, but Ive just had my Thruxton ECM done by TTP. My mate removed the SAI & CO2 sensors & put in a K&N filter, just tell them what mods youve done & they tune it accordingly. I think they have about 15 different tunes they can use, so there is bound to be one to suit.
    I sent the ECM off to TTP & they returned it within 4 days with a stage 1 tune in it. Ive never liked the over-run/popping that the Triumph map gave me sub 3000 revs on the run down & their tune 1 sorted it all. Good job done & so much better running mid-range too & no popping what so ever.....Sorted
