Hi, I've been restoring a 750 Bonneville powered Triton since crashing it in 1984 so its time i got it on the road. Almost completed - just missing a few bits such as carbs, electrics and exhaust stem, so some advice welcomed. the engine is a beauty and recently re-built - 10.5:1 CR, polished head etc but I lost the new carbs I bought about 20 years ago and have forgotten what Zener diode means! Welcome any contact in the Bath/Bristol area.
Hi Jez and welcome to the Triumph Playground - Enjoy ! Lovely bike btw - looking forward to hearing it run
Welcome Jezr a Triton interesting not sure how many on this forum have one of these, lets see, lets hope help is at hand, really nice to have something special like this, i for one will be watching this thread, how can you lose the carbs for it
Yes I cant believe it. They were brand new and I have hunted everywhere for them. I know what will happenn - I'll be another pair and the first pair will turn up! But I need advice as to what to buy. Original Amals or Japanese?
