Triumph Tiger 900 (885cc) Carb Aka Steamer

Hi, I guess it's pointless asking if anyone has a Pimento red fuel tank for one of these but if you do or any colour which is scrap let me know. The bike I have has two of the captive rivet nuts which are embedded in the tank missing....so yes they do come out. I suspect the previous owners over tightened them and it looks like they are glued in so in my case they didn't get glued back in to the tank. If you have the fuel level sensor from the right underside of the tank , even better.

 

Hi Simon I haven't got a spare tank but if yours is good bar these two fixings is it not possible to glue in a couple of suitable stainless rivnuts or similar? I'm sure your local plastic repairer/refurb shop can glue/weld them in successfully.
