all depends on $$$ but if the OE pads are anything less than HH compound there will be a good improvement on the cheap. i had the Pretech 6 piston differential bore caliper with EBC HH pads with EBC floating rotor + a necessary brake line change on my cast wheel 2012 bonnie EXCELLENT for the cost from the UK from.com TriumphTwinPower, so good i needed to address fork dive!!

And there are semi sintered and fully sintered type pads. The HH pads I reference above are fully sintered type. And I don’t notice abnormal disk wear.

unless your rotors are really cheap junk HH pads work without issue. its an easy upgrade i always do + scuffing-cleaning old rotors that are NOT warped or too worn is recommended when changing just pads

Hi Bro! I already upgraded the Brembo kits with 340mm disc for my T100-2019. But the disc was broken, I couldn't find it at my local market (Vietnam). Is it easy to find at your location?

This is a bit of an older thread, but last year I went with a Pretech on my older America. Same unit will fit all air cooled Bonnies except the Speedmaster. I only used the organic pads that came with the caliper. I did not need any more. They make units for many bikes. Serious stopping power ! A little expensive, but that is what money is for. ...J.D.

ran a pretech on my 12 mag wheeler with sintered pads WOW, so good i needed to upgrade the forks + the single 6 piston unit was better than the 2 factory setup on my 10 T120 i traded it in on!!

You can go with some "UJM" pieces, or scrape something together out of used pieces. Or you can convert the front end to Speedmaster forks with dual brakes and also increase your unsprung weight. The way I figured it, you would probably spend almost as much money. You can screw around with changing pads, but there is no substitute for increased pad size. ...J.D.

the single 6 piston pretech was better than my T120 dual disc as stated, about $400 but it needed a different brake line orentation. lighter than the OE lump of junk + worth the $$$$ IMO
