new tyre's arrived

my new tyre's arrived today going to fit them one day next week.

I had those on one of my older bikes I thought they were great

 

Gosh they have been around for years ,personally I'd have thought BT 023s would be better assuming they are for a Sprint ST. 016s are very soft and sportsbike orientated.

 

They are very soft and didn't last all the long to be honest but they were super sticky

 

i don't do a lot of miles a year so i went for the grip more than how long they will last.not bad for £140

 

Hi TT are you fitting these tyres to your rims or are you getting a tyre fitter to fit them ??

 

i worked for a yamaha main dealer for 8 years before they went bust,i am a fully qualified yamaha fitter so i will be fitting them myself.

 

I buy all my tyres online too and fit them diy style, very easy when you get the knack and have a bead breaker. It also guarantees undamaged rims

 

a friend of mine runs a bike shop with his dad,he has said i can use the workshop whenever i want.

 

It would be a struggle without the proper equipment resulting in the marking or damaging rim in some way.

 

Bloody good tyres super sticky had em on my GSXR don't last long though

 

Guess you cannot have the best of both worlds
