They seem like a load of money to me, considering they're not Triumph.

 

Hi Wide and welcome. With reference to exhausts I suggest you look at GPR they are very good and great value.

 

If you get a set of TOR's 2nd hand, you can take your bike along for a remap, been told it's about £20 for them to do it. Once my dealer re-opens, i'll be going down to get it done. Dealers are gonna give you that advice, they want you to leave the bike standard and spend a fortune with them servicing it and buying new parts from them !!!! It's their job and livlihood, not gonna tell you owt else.

Think my next mod will be removing the AI system, find the throttle very off/on especially at low speeds, negotiating roundabouts etc, someone that has already done this, will be along to give a better opinion (BIGLAD ?????) Not bothered about K&N filters or gaining more power, its a cruiser. Had plenty power on last bike, and got bored going like the clappers, so more power is not of interest, but if AI removal could make the throttle a bit smoother, I'll be going for it.

 

Hi mate, there is no doubt whatever in my mind that the way AI works (in models up to 2012) guarantees on-off, jerky throttle response. Removing it is very straightforward - 1 hour tops - and costs peanuts.

 

Welcome Wide, great choice in my opinion. I think the Speedmaster is a great adaptable useful and fun piece of machinery.
I have also got the short slash cut pipes which sound good to the rider. A lot of pipes sound better to the bystander but not necessarily the rider, not these, which makes me grin.

 

Welcome in Wide,have a look around dealers and get a feel of them first ! you have time before better weather gets here but will find prices increase slightly(always a deal to be had), I am sure you will be happy with the Triumph brand, good luck with bike hunt.
