How much time does the system provide? Does include a generator as well as the batteries?

The one I bought is rated at 1500va @ 120vac. No, these units plug in to the wall and your computer gear plugs in to it. It keeps your system from dropping out. For long term outages I also have a 5kw gasoline generator. Look on Ebay if you are looking for something.like this. Mine was $159+ tax. ...J.D.

Not looking for one, I was just curious. The power around me is usually stable so would be a waste for me.

I might be able to help you out there @Duckadiledundee , how about some ex Bad Billy Racing exclusive designer leathers crashed extensively & nicely scuffed look? I will even throw in some absolutely fooked knee sliders to further enhance the look :), trust me o_O Duck these cost me £900 when new, and now that they have been 'enhanced' by a real artist (that's me!:p) I would still only charge you a small premium (say £25) on top.

..... I know, I know, you can't believe your luck, I wouldn't make this offer to anyone else mate!

As you are considering a vented jacket to keep you cool you don't want a screen as that'll keep the breeze off of you.

There's never a need for a gear indicator as you can feel if the bike is in the right gear; I've never understood the point of these.

You'll struggle to get a high quality, properly armoured, vented summer jacket for £100, but the good news is that as you#ve not fitted a screen you'll not need it, as long as you leave to cuffs of your leather open and let the zip at the front hang open a little.

I vote you spend it on petrol - get out and do some riding!

Beer, fine whisky/whiskey and or some poteen
Or if it has to be bike related - coffee and a de-catted link pipe (if that can be had for a ton)

Something else, coffee. Summer is a week old now so it’s probably coming to an end so no need for a mesh jacket. With your elevated consciousness from the high levels of caffeine in your system you’ll always know what gear you’re in and you won’t want a screen because you’ll need the extra wind to cool you down.
B.t.w. every time I see your post it catches me off guard cause it’s my name too and for a brief second I think it’s me. So just in case you are me let’s get the screen, Highway riding on a speed is too much of a core workout for me without a screen.

I voted for the gear indicator. I really miss the gear indicators that my old Suzuki's had in their clocks. So often I find myself kicking up convinced I can't be in sixth yet as I'm only doing 125mph and I'm near the bleedin' red line!

Thank you for all your help and input everyone. All valid and respected opinions (mostly).

There is a fairly even split between gear indicator, jacket, and something else.

Alas, all I know is....I am not going to get a screen!

Bless you all, and thank you!!
