Stuff diplomacy.. the only thing that's going clear this sniveling snowflakery is another world war... the covid has not managed it despite their best efforts to spread it among themselves with their peaceful demos and stature battering ....but it will be a walkover for whoever starts it as all the liberal snowflakes will be in massive prison camps or shot for refusing to fight...my moneys on Trump stating proceedings.;):p

You mean like the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, CNN, The Guardian, The Daily Mirror, The Washington Post, the Labour Party, the SNP, the Liberal Democrats, Plaid Cymru, Antifa, Momentum, Hope Not Hate, Black Lives Matter, and every other left leaning organisation - who employ bullying tactics against anyone who does not follow their doctrine, or dares to state fact and truth. And it is not an occasional occurance it is daily and has been for years, especially since the Brexit vote.

FFS, little miss Krankie up in Scotland even wants to introduce laws to criminalise anyone who dares to question her policies, and if Labour were in power in England they would try to do the same, that goes far beyond bullying, those are the actions of despots.

And what is happening currently? - BLM have got almost the entire main stream media and political establishment so intimidated that none of them are brave enough to point out that BLM are a George Soros funded Marxist organisation whos purpose is to destroy capitalism, defund the police and introduce anarchy. What about the people that have been killed or near killed through vicious beatings at the hands of BLM supporters, all because a repeat criminal was killed by a rogue policeman (apparantly the policeman and Floyd also had previous altercations when they worked as doormen together years ago) with no proven racial motive.

Independent journalists, media creators, and private individuals are continually and routinely bullied by tech corporations like Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc who censor their content, or outright ban them from their platforms, simply because they express views and or facts which contradict the political opinion of those corporations.

All of the above is real bullying, I hardly think being called a snowflake qualifies as bullying.

The only right I'm defending is the right not to be murdered. By the police. By anyone.
What you describe is horrific and no-one should experience that and I am truly sorry that it is part of your life.

I could hear her saying it!

See over there? That’s the airport. Don’t like it here? USE IT.
This is aimed at anyone and no one. White, black, British or other.
If you don’t like our history our culture our nation, even if it’s your own.
Go. We only need positive people, not division.

I think you're right about frustrated people but you'll find that at both ends of the political spectrum and people need to question what's going on.
Right now I think I'll take your advice and read something about motorbikes..after I've put the kettle on and dug out the fruit cake ;)

I for one am just angered that we change our way of life to give way to the minority, Black white or whatever, this latest craze is spreading out of hand I see penny lane road signs have now been defaced where does it end, on a subject closer to home are all BMW tw@t suited riders neo-Nazis and Italian black leather clad riders Fascist's, and Jap riding rocket ship owners wannabe Kamikaze's and should they all be banned for being war mongering oppressors, I think not [well maybe the tw@t suits]
I was sick of having to do pink and fluffy courses telling me how to speak and conduct myself and items that are deemed not politically correct in case someone somewhere may be offended,

We are not responsible for our forefathers action's right or wrong let's not forget on all the nations where the white man has stood back they have returned to killing each other, middle east, India / Pakistan, Afrika this is because they are Tribal [much like the jocks and clans] these people prospered when governed now with choco republics they let their own people starve while they spend millions on arms and then our TV is festooned with begging adverts to help fight things like water aid, female genital mutilation and a million and one other issues while their governments live a life of ease and get an education at the white man's university's.

    Deep breadth and calm down

Despite the impression I might have given I genuinely agree with you, smashing statues, wrecking property and attacking police officers is way out of order and I hope those responsible get their comeuppance..and that's a word I don't use very often.
Right, I said I was going to make tea...

This is not a colour or creed thing its pure stupidity and greed.....one thing that galls me is the whole charity give to this, and thats nothing against anything that actually gets to the people that need it, its the endless adds asking for money for things like the clean water one that's been running for years and years .....so why haven't the millions given actually achieved clean water sources for all these third world country's is it like DD said a lack of drive and gumption on the part of the people or is it that there is such a large number of people employed in these schemes that are paid ridicules salaries virtually no moneys actually reach them and achieve any real good?

A couple of interesting points there Jez, I worked for Overseas NGO’s for 10 of the last 15 years and was in Zimbabwe 2004/5 Harare - I met loads of displaced white farmers begging to come back home (UK) but had rescinded their British citizenship several years previously because Mugabe insisted no Dual Nationals - and only Zim Nationals could hold property - those that could get back to UK (because of family links etc) often joked that the price they were paid for thier farms was just enough to pay for thier first breakfast at Heathrow!
At the same time the government were giving these farms to their friends, wives, girlfriends who had absolutely no idea how to run a farm, and not surprisingly they stopped producing anything and suddenly the breadbasket of Africa became a famine ravaged mess which it is still suffering with.
We used to employ quite a few of the white farmers to teach the new farm/landowners how to run their old farms - perhaps the final kick in the teeth for these guys, but their view no matter what for them, Zimbabwe has the potential to become the breadbasket again and worth fighting for!
As you mentioned Jez each farm had several families dependant on them for food, housing, health care, and education and all treated well and equally - all of these people are now on the streets begging and all of this because of greed and political expediency and I have to say this happens in pretty much every African Country I’ve lived / worked in

There has never been a famine in a true democracy
Which is why I am really against any extremes, the government stops working for the population and starts dictating to it and this then leads government operating for its own aggrandisement sound familiar? Boris and chums and Corbin and chums, Trump and chums Clinton and chums

On the other point we regularly looked at introducing mechanisation (tractors, agricultural machinery) into our development programs but it always failed due to a) availability of technical knowledge (mechanics) and b) access to supply of spare parts is none existent or very expensive, so your friends were probably on a hiding to nothing!

There is (was?) a strong view in the International Development sector that all overseas aid should be stopped unless the governments involved could prove they operated a genuine democracy and adhered to the universal declaration of human rights etc which would then benefit the real beneficiaries all round - unlike the current system which no matter how much we track and audit are open to corruption on a mind boggling scale
There was one classic case in a South West African Country I spent a long time where a huge program funded by the EU via the national government to the tune of 350million Euros, this was given to the Government to disburse to the implementing parties (us). when we the NGO applied for the funding after we had spent it (all approved and agreed before hand by all parties) the Government said they had ‘lost’ the money - so what did the EU do? Paid us direct  and no one knows where the first chunk of funds went.......
So your views are not too different to many others about aid, maybe you should work in the charitable sector:p

Respect to you Sir for getting up and doing something useful!
We used to have similar issues with staff retention, the chattering liberal classes would send their little darlings out to ‘help the poor Africans’ and have something to talk about at dinner parties, usually last 24 hours when they see the living conditions out in the provinces:cool:
All the capitol cities are very first world and comfy (provided your ok with the food, heat, mosquitoes, and not being allowed out on your own after dark, and the 10 foot walls, and guards everywhere) - in the provinces no running water no electricity little health care, cockroaches and other nasty critters - they’d freak out and demand to be sent home
I remember one girl arrived at our team house in the provinces in Niger who demanded to be flown home immediately because no one had done the washing up - she didn’t understand there was only one flight a week:joy: fun times:)

The truism in charity circles is "monetary aid to underdeveloped countries is Poor people in rich countries giving to Rich people in poor countries" the Mercedes tribes.
