Hopefully your grinding noise hasn't returned. I purchased a 2018 Street Triple RS last year, and this year (a few weeks into riding season) I started hearing/feeling the grinding in my clutch lever. It seems to go away after riding for a while, but is very pronounced when the bike is cold or when I've been cruising on the highway and not shifting for a while.

I have an appointment to take it into the dealership next week, so I'm hoping they too are able to replace it with "new parts to fix the rubbing issue". Out of curiosity, did you get any specifics from Triumph on what was the cause and what was replaced? I'm hoping to share some info with my dealer to prevent me getting the bike back with no parts replaced and the issue reoccurring.

Is this just an American issue?
I've had my 765rs from 272 miles and it is now around 4100 miles. Can't say I noticed any of these symptoms fortunately but I do make a point of applying spray grease to the handlebar lever pivot after jet washing. Im pretty sure I read somewhere but it might be the Speed triple that this area left the factory unlubricated.

Sorry to revive a dead thread. I have this exact problem in a 2018 Treet Triple RS.

The bike is likely out of warranty and I'm the second owne . What was the solution?
