You got me - the Rocket 3's are fecking beautiful. But, and its a Rebel Wilson size butt, I love my Speed Twin to pieces and I definitely can't afford two bikes. So I'll admire them from a distance and enjoy them vicariously.

Took the SS on a byway for the first time today.

I was expecting a lightly gravelled path, but instead found a heavily rutted, potholed dusty track with deep gravel, flint and similar, with lumps large enough to send the front wheel darting wildly off course. And sufficient gradients and slopes to unnerve the beginner.

Still, all the walkers and cyclists I encountered were very friendly and offered genuine words of encouragement, I didn't drop it and I can now feel justified in replacing the flimsy original plastic sump guard with a more substantial ally one as I managed to give it a good thump at one point.

The Marlborough Downs made it all worthwhile though.

Had an amazing ride out today. Went through Leek over to Whaley Bridge and Snake Pass. Managed to whittle down my chicken strips a bit :imp: D1B858A1-53FE-4F28-932D-CE7C09EB90B3.jpeg
On the way back to Buxton had a few miles of playing with a Ferrari. And then back home through Congleton. Beautiful weather, lovely roads. Lots of numpties in cars and on bicycles though.

Been chucking mine about in the countryside today. First time I've used a camera on a bike so if you're interested, have a watch.

Ordered new rear rubber for the T595 at 5.30 this morning having forgotten current tyre well knackered. Was going to try Conti Attacks but Pilot Road 4 was cheaper (even though it doesn't go out in the rain).

Took my Triumph to New York and the east coast :grinning:

That's New York (Lincolnshire) and east coast (Mablethorpe area) :p

About 3 hours each way via the back roads, was a lovely ride. Did it to see how busy beaches are (they were pretty quiet) as Mrs Mouse likes to have a swim in the sea at least once a year. A treat, as we live about as far away from the sea as it's possible to get in the UK. Now we just have to wait for the good weather to return...

40 miles of country and woodland A & B roads for me yesterday. Ranging from nice, smooth and sweeping to surfaces that felt like someone had taken a garden rake to it.

Liking being able to wind the 1050 triple on in 3rd and 4th now the 1st service is done and the sound it makes through the twin Arrows is addictive. The whole transmission and engine are so smooth. Having owned 2 strokes, inline 4s and twins I think this is the best road engine I've used.

Having the Ohlins setup is probably the best cash I've spent, other than the petrol.

This one is feeling like it could make it into the top 3 alongside my big bore 1998 Aprilia RS125 and first 954 Blade.

I accessorized my Scrambler 1200 XE with a Ruroc Atlas 2.0 helmet. It's almost like Ruroc made this color combo for this bike. I'll post a short review on a thread I created in the Clothing & Gadgets thread.

Also for some reason I can't clean all the mud off my bike, it feels like it should be that way all the time.

I rode the scrambler up to hart side cafe today a 240 mile round trip, the cafes still missing but apparently it’s getting rebuilt next year,I rode up the dales which were very quiet but on my way home there were a few more bikes about, the pics are from the view point at hart side cafe and the river pic is were I sat for my dinner in the dales.
