Hi JC, Welcome to the Looney bin. Are front number plates still legal in the states?

Thanks for the welcomes and yes, I do get a lot of comliments on it. Although I try to keep it clean, I credit Triumph for flawlessly executing the "Modern Classc" look. I get a fair number of old timers who ask me if it is a restoration, believe it or not. Seeing as how it has no kick starter and has disc brakes, I'd think that would be a bit more obvious, but there you go, I still get the question! :D

Looking forward to exploring the site.

    Cheers,

    JC

Oh, just caught this. Yes, they're fine. It's really a decorative modification, people put all sorts of things on them, but I did, in fact, have it match my plate number. Not required, but not prohibited, either. You don't see much of them, but I think it adds to the look. Make it more true to its Brit heritage.

I also replaced the stupid DON'T DRINK THE BRAKE FLUID warning on the front brake reservoir cap. Seems we have to warn idiots about everything these days.
