    Hi
Only a few miles on the new to me bike. It is suffering from stuttering every now and then, especially on acceleration or at low revs. I will put a few more miles on it having topped up with fresh fuel. Still under warranty if it persists. Anyone experienced similar? Mine is 2017 model, but has only 500 miles on it so it has clearly been stood for quite a while.

EU regs mean the bikes often run too lean, try and re-set the ECU maybe.

From cold, preferably overnight cold, start engine, do not rev or touch throttle, leave bike running until fan comes on, I leave mine for 25 minutes, Triumph say 12.

ECU should re-set and start learning again.

I need to do this more regularly than I would like as my Scrambler XC's fuelling is a tad too lean and bike stalls on occasions, an ECU re-set seems to lessen the frequency.

Some say a booster plug (£130) solves the problem, I'm not convinced nor do I expect to pay as I've spent £13,000 on a bike.

Quick update. Did the 12 minute reset. Took short ride out today and had no issues. Bike ran smoothly. It was too short a ride for me to be absolutely confident - but signs are good. Many thanks.

Check your bike for the old plug cap failures aswel as its a free job at the stealers. Some models did suffer from this. But you probably just need to get the fuel flowing through it again.
    Regards
    Joe.

Yes. I’ll give it a few more miles before panicking. It’s under warranty so should be easy to fix if it persists. Much much better on the ride today and it did have new fuel in the tank. Loving it so far.
