Rev Limit At 7000 Rpm.

    Just been listening in on this.problem. My instincts lead me to think more on the lines of a ignition issue. The reason I say this is by 7000 rpm fueling.is usually full rich, at least as far as it is.going.to go. My thinking is.faulty.spark. Either poor secondary ignition [coils, plugs, wires, etc.] OR a primary ignition [ignitor, ecu etc.]. If ALL.cylinders are.effected, I.would.say it is a primary [low.voltage side] problem. If only.one or two cylinders, then I would look more.at.the secondary ignition pieces [coils, plugs, wires]. Happy hunting. ...J.D.

    AFTERTHOUGHT: The possible exception to the above would be a partally blocked fuel filter...
