I have a triumph t100 bonnie 2017 and require to adjust my drive chain difficulty getting the spanners in, on the internet it says to remove the exhausts to do it which seems a bit of a pain any advice,

You get combination spanners in a ratchet version too.

It seems to be what Im after, wheel base is the same as the Speed, gearing is more aggressive than the GT, weight is 35 kg less and only 30kg more than the Speed, and (I think ) thats with the panniers, so very similar and with luggage and screens fairing etc.
Im just going to sit back for as long as I can, with the season closing, does it matter that Im still on the GT come the new year I dont think so, there is so much to like about it, I can keep it a few more months.Through the winter its nice to have the two ideas to bounce off each other.

I found it awkward even with cranked spanners. I have a T100 black and things mark easily. I eventually bought Toga silencers which give access with regular spanners.

i think i may have to adjust my chain, anyways i followed the manual and its very confusing. i watched some yt tutorials also, my question is do you have to losen all the lock nuts (both sides) and then do you have to adjust both adjustment nuts or just the side where the spindle nut? the yt tutorial i saw, the guy only adjusted from the spindle side. thanks in advance.

@R341N1994 Yeah you have to do both sides otherwise the wheel will be misaligned, there are marks on the swingarm to allow to get the same adjustment on both sides. Welcome to the forum!

thanks for the reply and thanks for the welcomes.
i still have question regarding the actual lock nuts, i know the manual refers the lock nuts as the set furthest from the wheel and the adjuster nuts as the set right by spindle. so in this case, i have to losen the lock nuts, the spindle nut, and then start turning on the adjustment nuts, am i correct in this comprehension? thanks

haha thanks i think you hsd just cleared it for me. yeh i meant those nuts adjacent to the outter end of the adjuster, basically the ones toward the rear brake and clutch pedals. ok so i have to losen both sides for that right?
i apologize for silly questions, but this is my first time messin with my bike, i have a 2017 t100, so it sounds like we have similar or same adjuster mechanism.
