Hello RevPaul, It's good to be back on two wheels but any experienced rider will tell you two weeks off the road is enough to lose your edge. My mate returned to biking and bought a brand new Royal Enfield last year and crashed it into an on-coming car on a corner within 24 hours. He admitted the car driver was a nice looking woman and he got distracted. As luck would have it she was also a doctor and was able to help with his broken right foot until the ambulance arrived. The bike was soon fixed and he was OK after a few weeks. Just go easy on the corners mate.
