Love our garden - so glad of it at the moment; really pity folks stuck in flats. Ms S does the planning and technical stuff - I just do the grunt work. But it's a great place to sit and drink beer DS
Might not be the right thing at this present time. We have a green waste bin as standard but the collection of them is currently suspended during the plague.
They stopped collecting our garden waste four weeks ago, more or less as we went into lock down. No communication on when they will restart at the moment...
We’re still getting a full waste collection service here in Fylde borough. Where abouts are you Wessa?
Very nice. We had our back garden completely landscaped, three years ago. I was never really into gardens, but now I just love spending time out there.
I am now agreeing with Dozers Dad. Crumble rhubarb and rhubarb. No apple no ginger no extra's. Last time I had good old rhubarb crumble and thick custard must have been 50 year ago when my gran used to make. Now I can't get any always mixed with other rubbish I don't like. Kind Regards & Living the Dream. Joe.
Stopped collecting mine too. Checked the website. They are going to reduce next years charge for the service by a proportionate amount for the missed collections. Currently pay £45 p.a.
We have a little garden being in the centre of town. When we bought the house a year and a half ago it was a jungle. Ripped everything out and started afresh. Not looking bad for such a young garden, I think. We're especially pleased with the verandah. And, like @Tricky-Dicky, I like my (if still tiny) Acers!
