Does anyone know where I can get a better front mudguard for my 2001 bonny? I know the current craze is for cut down jobbies but that's no good for all the crap that`s on the roads at the moment. I`m fed up with all the muck coming round the sides of the standard guard. A mud flap will be an improvement but the sides need to be deeper also.

Agree that the front mudguard is nowhere near as effective as it's looks would suggest. When riding on wet roads I can see the constant stream of dirty water coming up from the area around the forks and landing all over my legs and the top of the tank. Of course I should point out that wet roads are quite rare in Scotland!

I used to have a mud flap on my standard Bonnie mudguard and it did keep some of the crap off the bike. However, I eventually replaced the stock guard with a short jobbie off a Scrambler - figured it was better to go for the looks and just wash the bike more often!
