Rocket Pillion On The New Rocket

    It’s really not very good :(
    As I’m in the garage looking at stuff and making measurements for one or two or three projects :p
    I decided to have a sit on the back of CERBERUS :)
    Feckin hell :( NO WAY could I ride pillion on one of these :(
    I’m 5ft 10and a half (that half is important isn’t it ladies :p) and my legs are proper crunched up :tired_face:
    Tried moving back on the seat to get more comfortable and I was already right on the back of it :eek: I nearly Feckin fell off backwards :eek::joy::poop:
    Those fancy rear footrests looks lovely but they’re far too high for me :(
    I made (asked) wor lass to come into the garage :)
    She’d just got out the shower and was sitting in her jimjams :joy:
    Wor lass is 5ft1” (same as Kylie Minogue :p) and said it’s fine for her but wants a back rest :)
    More money :mad:
    I didn’t buy this bike with pillion’s in mind but plenty people would have and I think they’re gonna be disappointed :confused:

    Errr...they do make a GT you know :joy::joy:

    My wife is 5'1" and I am 5'10" and she is more than comfortable on the back. The GT has the comfort seats while the R has the Sports seats (99% sure)
    Dont think there is any difference in peg position.
    You could change the seats out.
    The backrest on the GT is not quick to remove which p'd me off a bit. Just wanted an easy swap out to single seat but under seat pan has to come off
    Maybe its just that "extra 6 inches" you have on me mate ;)

    I think the GT pillion seat height (and pillion pegs) are the same, no? The GT might be a softer seat, but that wouldn't help. And the GT has a slightly lower rider seat height, but again, I wouldn't have thought that would help the pillion at all.

    The backrest is what'll help a pillion, they might be somewhat scrunched up, but on the Rocket, the main thing is to be able to hold on!

    You would have to wait at least 12 weeks and I hate to think how much you would get screwed for.. pleased don’t do this I could not cope with the stress :):)

    It's strange but it's like a fascination with that 'special' relationship you relationship you have with Crystal I am interested in rather than being 'interested' in, err her? :eek:
