    I have a 2010 Bonneville SE EFI.
    removed the following
    • Air box Snorkel
    • Air box Baffle
    • stock replaced with a K & N filter
    • SAI air things
    • lambda sensors
    • disabled SAI in map
    • Disabled Lambda in map

Stock headers and Norman Hyde straight chrome silencers went to the local Triumph dealer (Cheltenham) and they said best map would be Tuneecu site 20500Map. £39.99 20 mins later runs ok from 4k up but in traffic it was terrible plus when hot will not start. Triumph said that was the only MAP they had and were happy to put it back as they found it.

Went on tinner net and found REPS in Caldicott Newport and had a run on the dyno. yep running v rich up to 3.25k. then just a little bit rich all the way to 7k.

in TuneECU is it just a case of editing the MAP to lean out between 1 and 3 k or am I simplifying it?

Second option dose anyone have a map that they have used on a similar build that they could recommend?

You could try and lean it yourself but you do need to know what your doing and depending on how the air fuel maps are calibrated/scaled the safest way to DIY is to use a wide band lambda setup that way you know whats happening but it not cheap i guess the best way is to find a map that's been created for your setup by some one.

as tricky said just lean off the cells in that rev range just try small increments and load the map in take it out and feel the difference

ok so had the bike back today from the Guy. he said the following
    1. exhaust leak at junction under the engine
    2. exhaust leak at main joint on left side (different readings between (L & R)
    3. now runs smooth all the way to 6K
Still a bit hard to start when hot
The guy said when staring the ECU defaults to a set mixture which is now a tad rich on my bikes set up.
his advise is NOT to open the throttle when hot starting just press button and it WILL start.

I have tried this and yes it does but only after 10 seconds of cranking.

Is there a way of altering this air censer to say its hotter than it is thus leaning the mixture.

the bike is great in traffic just a bit slooow to hot start.
