    You dont even need to do that @Dozers Dad

    I once upon a time had a kmx 200 in a week old new concrete sectional garage. Got up next morning for work and it was gone, no sign of break in

    :worried::worried::worried::worried:

    Umm so what happened?

    Nothing was obvious until I shut the up and over garage door with me inside.
    Like in the article quoted here, i then noticed a little breeze where the roof sheets were removed :mad::mad::mad::mad:
    Bear in mind, once inside the doors usually have a release button to avoid getting locked in; a real security bonus!!!

    Had the little barstewards though despite ones parents protesting his innocence due to him not being out because he was on a curfew order :joy::joy::rolleyes:

    A friend I bought an RMX 250 off in my enduro days had a nice bike to replace it. He religiously parked it at the back of his dads garage with his dads car tightly up to it. His car was on the drive and everyone was in bed.

    Now these were dickhead scrotes!
    They broke in, woke no one and ragged the off road bike, sharp footpegs and all straight over the bonnet and roof of his dads car and made a right mess.

    Cheap powerful Lithium ion battery tools, and the now easily accessible cheap diamond wheels and blades is not going to be a good thing for owners,

    I used to work with a guy years ago who’ was robbed the exact same way. The scumbags knocked a hole 3 times the size through the wall at the back of the house and carried everything he had through there. Poor fella didn’t have an alarm back then to alert an alarm company. Weeks later when he came back from holiday the birds had already made nest inside. They emptied his place.

    The words used by some clueless journo who probably never visited the scene doesn’t change the fact that, as I view it from my screen, there is no evidence of a saw/ cutting disc, call it what you want, being used to make the hole and everything still points to those blocks being broken with a sledgehammer.

    So can I. And whilst they are arguing about how the hole was made the real crime here is the dealer loosing a very expensive bike and that it is unlikely that it will ever be recovered.... The people responsible are scum bags is what I say.....

    Yeah gotta agree Wessa, the dealer isn't far from me, they are involved in racing, used to sponsor a mate of mine, they are good guys. :mad:
    Meanwhile we had Poirot, Columbo & Miss Marple all trying to crack the case! :p

    It's quite easy to make a hole like that. In fact it's a breeze.

    Exactamundo. Using a Stihl to cut that hole would make clouds of dust and an inordinate racket. A 4lb lump and bolster would be relatively discreet and pretty quick.

    You plainly don’t know the dark arts of muffled entry. It’s not all waxed shotgun cartridges to take the hinges off! Leather pad?
