Hi has anyone fitted a universal tail tidy to 2018 on Speed RS. I have been looking and it seems that there is lots to choose from. Any feedback would be a big help.

The only help I can give you is R&G are poor quality Evotech are far superior, have fitted both. Not sure which other ones you have looked at.
    Best of luck

The thought of attempting to fit a universal tail tidy to the Speed RS makes me feel unwell :dizzy:

The Evotech unit integrates perfectly with the bike - and it's far superior in quality to the R&G (I have also fitted both).

Here's what it looks like from underneath...it's the only way forward!

I agree, that looks a tidy bit of kit but when you have two to pay for it becomes expensive. Also had a tail tidy on my MT09 cant remember which make but one of the so called better ones and the finish was shall we say not very good. I was hoping that some one may have fitted something from ebay and had good results.

Personally I would leave the original on if the cost is a problem, save up for the Evotech.
Better than putting something s**t on my bike.

I have an evo tech on mine and really pleased with it. Only downside is it allows all the crap to spray up your back!

Don’t tell me!!! I stuck on a Pyramid Plastics duck-tail which goes some way to stopping most of the crap landing up on my back and helmet.

get some 2mm rubber sheet, cut out a 8cm square, cut a "v" shape in it (for the cables to be in) loosen off the 4 screws underneath, slide in the rubber to block off the hole and do the screws back up. 5 min fix and no water into the seat section. Costs £2

I got a ductail too but only for lots of rain.
The above is to stop the water getting into the seat section!!
