Hi, after riding suzuki bikes for 19 years I have just bought my first triumph a week ago. Today I am taking the standard cans off as it is very quiet with these on and replacing with some pea shooter exhaust cans just hope it's not really loud with these on

Thankyou for the warm welcome, I will try and put some pics up now I have fitted the exhausts which took all afternoon and lots of swearing, will be firing it up tomorrow when the sealer gunk has dried. The bike is a 97 triumph adventurer and was in need of tlc so I have been busy on it all week whend I had time,

That's either a fantastic garage or she's in your house - either way welcome.

    Hi Debz, and welcome!
Finding neutral should be fairly easy, if perhaps a little bit heavier than Suzukis. An oil and filter change may help if it's not been done recently.
I haven't found it necessary to us exhaust sealant when swapping silencers on both my '02 Daytona 955i (when I had it) and my Trident 900 (swapped back to the originals last month with no resultant leaks!). Perhaps I've just been lucky, or, more likely, the Yorkshireman in me decided not to bother and see what it was like without!!

The t bird looks nice now tho. Mine had a lot of fluffy alloy if you know what I mean, but I have spent hours with wet and dry and sore fingers removing it lol

Welcome, bike looks nice. Not been here long myself, Nice bunch of people, so far !!!! ;-)

Until i moved house and got a garage, both my VT125 and SV650 spent the worst of the winter in the house, looked great tucked in a corner of the dining room! Don't think I could get the America through any of the doors, or I would squeeze her in out of the garage.

You can see straight thru the zorst there is like a honeycomb baffling on the sides if you understand me, only a tiny hole at end to put a baffle and does it mean drilling a hole to fit it? Thanks debz

While I was at work today my partner sneaked me trumpy out to test the exhaust now we have baffled it a bit, he said it sounds like a Lancaster bomber flying through thunder and he made a toddler in a pushchair cry
