So are speed cameras, 20mph zones speed humps and an overpopulation. Now I can’t see that there’s going to be MORE road space, faster main roads, hump free streets and zero ‘cash collectors’ as we all over here are going down the same funnel.

It sounds like riding in the UK pretty much sucks and it rains a lot too.
I get a LOT of snow and sometimes gloomy rain but not like you poor boys !

It's not quite that bad John, once you get out into the more sparsly populated places the riding can be quite good....perhaps some of us have exaggerated somewhat!
Regarding weather, yes we do get a lot of rain, particularly recently, but the last two summers have been very hot.
As someone already pointed out; where l live (the south coast) it can be very congested at times and that can make for frustrating riding, so probably l am not typical of all UK motorcyclists
