Well I decided I would tackle a little custom job on the bike today. I’ve never liked the OEM front sprocket cover on the speedy, so I got out my dremel and removed the center portion as well as both of the inset sections of the cover. This really opens it up for a nicer look as well as making it a lot easier to clean. I can now clean the front sprocket by spraying WD40 directly on it without removing the cover. Took about an hour to complete. What do you think? PS: Thought I would include a photo of my helper:), I couldn’t of done it without him.

Yes a gold chain would look very nice from behind the black cover.

That's a well thought out bit of work Steve - and it looks great :)

What's in the green tin - dog food?

Thanks Mr T. Awe yes, the green tin. It has some change in it. Whenever I’m in the garage both my dogs like to be in there with me, and they like the garage door open slightly so they can look outside. They often like to bark at passing dogs, so I give the can a shake to stop the barking.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work any better on the new bike, so it’s turned off. I try not to think about it. Maybe before I’m to old to ride anymore they’ll have finally figured out the issue .

The job was pretty easy actually. I used the drill bit that comes with the dremel to drill holes along where I wanted to cut out the inserts. Then I used the bit that looks almost like a drill but has a small cutter on the end to cut close to the linear well to finish up the insert cuts. On the centre piece after the cutting bit I followed by the sandpaper bit to finish up. Here is a photo of the bits used.

That’s true, but let’s be honest I’m probably going to have more than I should anyway :joy:. In fact, here is a photo of a recent blackberry pie I made :yum.
