Don’t know if anyone watched Question Time last night. What a bloody fix. Corbyn seemed to have free reign to spout his usual Marxist nonsense with little interference from the host Fiona Bruce, whilst the other three party leaders, Nicola Sturgeon, Jo Swinson and naturally Boris Johnson we’re constantly being interrupted. Then the audience were I’d guess, shipped in from the Communist Workers Party annual outing. There appeared to be a couple of people who were especially heckling and seemed to be planted there To be fair though Boris did not do well, he was not very convincing. overall 2 hours wasted time which I could’ve spent playing with the cats.
I've long since stopped watching BBC coverage of news and current affairs. The political bias is scandalous imho. You're right BC Boris does need to up his game when public speaking. He'll still get my vote though.
Sadly I can’t vote being an expat, but if I could I would also vote for Boris. As a life long labour supporter it pains me to admit this. Corbyns cozy relationship with terrorists (Hamas and the IRA to name but two), plus his stand on antisemitism, the rabble of idiots who are his shadow cabinet, and the desire to turn the clock back to the Callahan times, make the Labour Party un-electable.
Tell you who really boils my p!$$ that George Feckin Galloway. Booted out of the labour party, formed his own "respect" party now claims to be a presenter. He was on radio 2 yesterday, twat. Anyone who bows down to kiss Saddam Hussein's feet doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as decent folk. Rant over.
I only watched a bit of the program. Corbyn was on, and I thought he was really getting it in the neck (rightly so). He seemed to be squirming quite a bit. Maybe that was light treatment compared to the others, (I switched off) but I thought he was struggling at that point.
Comrade Corbyn will say and do whatever can get him elected, the country will deserve what they vote for especially if they vote that knob in.
Yup it's all free, this is basis of free commerce, what's more it's worth every penny you paid for it. Free to. promise
Chair1 There you go you have my vote. All you have to do is move to Burnham bucks and I will elect you after the roof is repaired. As I know how all the politicians make broken promises. Regards Joe.
Dozers Dad I may drop him a letter to set out my terms. I see they are out door knocking already. Probably end up doing the roof my self. As you know they say anything to get your vote then it's no I didn't say that. Regards Joe.
Old Phart Phred. You should know that in this time and age nothing is free. Probably cost me my soul not to mention the house and bikes. Regards Joe.
Chair1 You have the job. No 10 is all yours just start campaigning now so we can vote for you. Yes like you I try to keep to my word. I won't say I have always achieved my promises but I don't let people down when I have made a promise. Regards Joe.
Interesting how people can listen to the same debate by politicians and get opposite impressions. The Corbyn vs Johnson fight turned out pretty even in my opinion, but I reckon JC just edged it. I don't find the BBC bias towards Labour. I do think Johnson is a lying scumbag and I'm frustrated and annoyed that people get taken in by his carefully constructed act. The gutter press (Mail, Telegraph, Sun etc..please don't tell me you read them) have always had it in for Corbyn. The owners of those papers do not want Labour in power at any cost. Corbyn's neutral stance on Brexit makes sense. Harold Wilson took a similar position during the original vote all those years ago. JC is not as affable or charming as Johnson but I think he is far more sincere in what he says. So there you go, same debate but opposite viewpoint
Meanwhile Andrew Neil has just tied Sturgeon in knots on how she can spend £110 with an income of £100 AND, as she claims to meet EU rejoin rules, put money in the piggybank. That was before her health service guarantees enshrined in SNP enacted law where only 2 of 8 targets are being met and when will she be up in court? A pity he is about the only competent inquisitor left. Party leaders all need buffing with coarse wire wool.
