But she doesn’t have immunity. The question is do we extradite for a £500 fine when she may well have been told to quietly slip away? She comforted the poor lad while her kids sat in the wreck. Are the needs of justice met by everyone revisiting all the trauma? I have lived in Germany. Those first few weeks it is SO easy to turn out of a junction in a RH drive car onto the wrong side of an empty road.

My rant for today is insurance companies; yes them again. So I rang my insurance company to amend my dual bike insurance policy to remove my Speed Twin and to add my new Tiger Sport. Everything went really well until I was put on hold for 15 minutes well the agent got a quote from the underwriters. When she came back on the news was not good. I have just short of four months left on my policy and the cost to swap bikes was £106. £26 of that was the admin fee and the £80 was the uplift. WTF is that all about £106 over and above the premium I have paid for two bikes to April. I will be looking to another company come April when the policy is up for renewal...

Yep that just about sums it up. But they will miss out come April cause I won't renew with them. False economy me thinks....

I find the SWMBO‘s power and influence obeys the inverse square Law, in that its power to control is exponentially attenuated with distance.

5 minutes down the road on my bike and I’ve already forgotten what time her mother is popping over for dinner, and what essential groceries I’m supposed to pick up along the way...

I live for the moment, the moment of freedom. Whenever I am in the house I have already done ‘something’ wrong so a big bollocking vs little bollocking vs monumental bollocking has no extra consequences.

I’d have left years ago but for the fact I’m a social fuckwit and getting married once was a statistical anomaly.

No offence mate, but once you finally beat the krypton factor test... what will you be using your engineering brain to help you do to your bike???

Good one, JD! But how did you get that text on that photo?? I'd love to be able to do that, thanks.

You can use Microsoft Paint to get your text onto a photo, will try & step by step it for you Sandi
    1. Choose the photo, then right click, open with, then choose Paint.

    2. If the picture is too big for you to manage in the screen, click resize (just under crop) it always shows as 100 in the top 2 boxes, change to 50 which halves the picture size, if still too bog do it again.

    upload_2019-11-27_14-7-2.png

    3. Click the big A to the right of resize button, you will see the Text box appear, then go & click where in the picture you want text to appear, you can choose text colour & font etc.

    upload_2019-11-27_14-10-38.png

    4. Write what you want then click save, I would save the picture as something other than original name as you can then return to it if you make a mess of the one that you add the text to.

Or being positive about it, you've been food shopping so you can now eat and that will give you the strength and stamina to work on your bike, especially in this nasty cold weather. :D
