Thanks big lad, no biggie. ( no pun intended) I'm still riding bikes again so it could be worse. As long as it don't go rusty :D

Dragged the bike out today for the first time in a couple of weeks.
A bit foggy and chilly first thing so full textiles with liners today.
Met a couple of mates and after a "spirited" 50 miles stopped for a quick coffee.
Then went to a local pub that was holding a charity British and Classic bike day.It was packed!
Some interesting machinery including a home built 4 cylinder 2 stroke BSA! well it said BSA on the tank.Sorry forgot the camera.
A pint of Hook Nortons finest and a burger before heading home.

Just had four fantastic days in Dorset.
Wet and dark ride down there on Wednesday evening (Triumph gloves NOT waterproof!) but excellent weather the rest of the time. Stayed in a converted barn, complete with dovecot, duck pond and a view of Corfe Castle in the distance. Even the Trident had a cart shed to stay in.

Visited the deserted village of Tynham - residents evacuated in 1943 so the army could use the area as a gunnery range - supposed to come back after the war but the army is still shooting!

Thanks Dave - no complaints about life at the moment.
How are you enjoying the KTM? I see the weather is about the same over there as here (raining again now).
Getting ready for the Distinguished Gents Ride this Sunday - well by that I mean the Enfield has no carb on it at the moment - hope the new bits arrive in time!

The KTM is great, but like all modern machinery it's not without it's faults. KTM can't make an airtight airbox to save their lives.
Hi Steve, enjoying the KTM loads - if only the weather would perk up a bit :mad:

Better day today, have you ever tried to fit a swinging arm? bloody hard to get it to line up. after getting a friend to make up a tool to fit the bearings, I greased up the pined bearings and wriggled and wriggled and wriggled oh and wriggled the swinging arm into place ( or near as dam it) I think the extra paint made it very tight. After what seemed an age I finally got the bolt through!!! And not a swear word in site. I'm at he stage of putting Penelope back together again after a real revamp. She was in a state but she should look a lot better after all the work I put in on her. just waiting on parts from Triumph Dublin. Hope to fit the sub frame and sort out the new chain and sprockets tomorrow so you can ask today..... it was a good one.
