Turning 56 in a few months. Started racing MX/XC at 12 and raced until I was 30. Bad crash ended my racing and didn't ride again until 2006 when I bought a Buell XB9SX. Had been looking for a new bike for a few years and just couldn't find anything that spoke to me. Walked into a Triumph dealer in April saw the Speed Twin and bought it 2 days later. The Speed Twin has received the following upgrades - Ktech Razor Lite shocks, Tec Bike Parts fork springs and adjustable preload caps, Corbin custom seat, Triumph levers, Dart Classic wind screen and Vance Hines exhaust. Put a bit over 3000 miles on the bike but since it is November it will soon be put into winter hibernation.
Thanks all, been to the UK for work years back and in 2016 went to Isle of Man for the classic TT. Had a great time. Hoping to get to the Goodwood festival in the next year or two. Any other members for the Chicago area?
Timothy Peters Welcome to the family. Nice bike there. And you are of to a flying start here with the inmates with the photo and introduction. Nursey will indeed get a quite night while here in the asylum they ogle your bike. Regards & Ride Safe. Joe.

Welcome! I’m in Deerfield and just traded my 04 T100 for a Speed Twin but will leave it in storage until spring. Maybe we can connect then. I’ve done some mods too. Would be good to compare notes.
Sounds good. Have you attended Motoblot in Chicago? If not, maybe you can attend next summer. What color ST did you get and where did you buy it from? Mine is from Woodstock. How many miles on your bike?
