    Hi Folks.
Just got my first Triumph after 30 years of riding all kinds of rusty old Japanese junk. Its an '09 Bonnie SE. Low mileage, excellent condition, I just couldn't turn it down for the price. After a couple of hiccups with an elderly battery and a snapped speedo cable I'm loving it. I'd always fancied a Bonneville.

So I thought I'd drop in and introduce meself. I'm probably going to annoy you with the usual noob questions so I'll apologise in advance.

    Cheers all :)

Cheers Folks. Here's the wee beastie. I've since put bar end mirrors on and removed the massive luggage rack. I got caught in a bloody monsoon on it the other day and the seat seems to have soaked up about a gallon of rain water. Now I get a soggy gusset everytime I sit on it. I think some waterproofing is in order once I manage to dry the bugger out properly :)

Welcome to a terrific forum, DaveB, and to the wonderful world of Triumphs! Thanks for sending the photo. She's a lovely "wee beastie", as you refer to her. ;)
