Hi to all, thanks for the add. Currently riding a black 2004 955i Daytona, bought this in 2007 with 6,500klms on it, now has 48,000. Prior to that i had a beautiful 2003 SprintST, in Aston Green, which was unfortunately written off after a tradie in a van pulled a u-turn across my path, i bounced back but my Sprint didn't. I also ride a 1999 Suzuki TL1000R, in Yellow/Silver, with 32,000klms on it, i've had the TL for 6 years and it had done 14,000 when i bought it.
Welcome Damian: There are crazy people here from all over the English speaking world [ and maybe beyond]. Spent some time on a TL1000R myself. It belonged to my late son. Picture is my Sprint and Allen's TL at Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, California. The TL got a new owner in New Mexico about 2006, but I still have the Sprint along with two other Triumphs. ...J.D.
Sad to hear the loss of your boy J.D., I'd hate to outlive mine. I do miss my Sprint but have never looked back since getting the Daytona, I would actually like to have both but there are other bikes i'd like to experience owning too. All in good time.
Damian: Thanks for the kind words. Life deals you some pretty rotten stuff at times. The longer you live the more things can happen. We lost him in a work related accident in 2008. Life moves forward, and we have to do the same. All you guys...ride safe out there. ...J.D.
Damien Taylor. Welcome to the family as I think I missed your intro. Do hit the upload a file button bottom right and show us the inmates a picture of the steed. Here in the asylum we like pictures to ogle whilst nursey medicates us. Regard & Ride Safe. Joe.
