    Hi Matt,
I have a 2016 Speedie R with an upshift only QS. It's bloody awesome, and hasn't suffered from any of the problems that the RS up-and-down shifters have been reporting.
As to whether it's 'worth' fitting, I guess it's each to their own, but I bloody love it! There's nothing like grabbing a handful of throttle and just snicking up the box, the only problem is how quickly you can arrive at some extremely illegal speeds (on a private track, of course!)
I know that we're all in different financial positions, but I'd certainly spring £99 for one. Let us know what you decide and how you get on...

Hi Matt. I’ve got the 2019 RS with the quick shifter and it’s the best quick shifter I’ve ever used. It’s smooth and operates perfectly from 1st up to 6th and then back down again. I hardly use the clutch now.
No matter what the price is I think it’s worth it. You will be so impressed.

I've bought one and it's on it's way! Thanks for your input, I'm looking forward to arriving at extremely illegal speeds!

Which model number fits the speed rs? I’m going to order them for the spring. Should be easy enough to install.

Excellent! Just ordered the QS, heated grips and rad finishers. Peeved that I bought the auxiliary power socket today from my local dealer for £27.50........on sale now for £8.26. You win some, you lose some!

Edit: my dealer has said to drop by some time and they will refund the difference for the socket. Happy again!

One more question, do these have the on/off button on the grip? I looked at this model # on the Triumph accessories page and it didn’t look like it had the button.

Has anyone installed Triumph heated grips on their bike themselves? Just curious how difficult it is.

I've installed on the 2016 S and easy enough. Can't say for the RS.

Hi Steve, the pictures on Triumphinstructions.com for the RS version show a pair of buttons on the grip. See below

hi steve, there is only 1 button that you cycle through for the temp. 1st press is hottest, and if you want less, press it again. On the forth press, its off. 1 press again and it'll cycle through again.
There is a grip displayed in the tft showing this after you install them.
    Speed RS btw.
Easy to install and nothing to worry about.
I had to support the bars as i found it easier to install the RHS grip wire with them off as its bending at a 180 degree angle if you don't and almost impossible to thread through the small hole in the bars.
Genuinely makes it a doddle that way.
However, great to have BUT they seem VERY thin rubber and I don't think that they'll last too long.
From previous knowledge though, i'd recommend the OXFORD ones as the battery location is perfect for hiding the cables and they are way hotter and thicker.
    Also WAY cheaper.
Downside, no display on the tft and you have the small square control unit to mount but at 1/5 of the price and will last far, far longer.....

I’ve nearly completed installing the triumph grips on my 2016 Speed Triple R, this evening. Straight forward following the instructions. I would have put the Oxford ones on, but seeing as Triumph had them on sale for about £50, i went for them instead.. Remains to be seen just how good they are.

Install finished and they work. They don’t have the “burn your palms” heat of the Oxford grips but I think they’ll do the job.

A straightforward job with the only PITA part being removing the blanking plug from the harness connector....easy when you know how but much cursing up to that point.

This plastic bit landed on the floor when removing the left side mirror and grip. Can't see where it came from. Any clues, anyone?
Edit: Now identified from the online parts......it’s a plastic plug. Must remember to put it back!
