It Is Hot In So Cal

    I AM THE PROUD OWNER OF 1995 SUPER 111 AND ITS BROTHER DAYTONA 1200 ALSO YELLOW.
    MY PROBLEM IS THEY RUN SO HOT. IS THER A TEMP SENSOR THAT WIL START MY FAN SOONER.
    I WILL NOT WIRE IN A MANUAL SWITCH. JUST WANT A LOWER TEMP SWITCH.

    Welcome to the family. Think you are taking the Piss now its got cold over here and they keep telling us its going to be the coldest winter in sixty years. Now you are going to have to send us a picture of you steed to pacify us all again. But as for cooling your bike there is not much you can do other than fit a remote small fan. But the local triumph people I am sure have looked at this and your bike will be set. Anyway most bikes run much better hot.

    How confident are you of the thermometer accuracies and how old are the thermostats? Do the rads need back flushing?
    It is not too difficult to fit an adjustable controller with a temperature bulb discreetly slotted into the radiator matrix. It is automatic but you can tune the point at which it kicks. Alternatively fit a switch with a lower range. Auto factor should match to the size of the fitted item.

    You can change the temperature that your cooling fan starts.that's what I did to my 955i and I too live in so.cal.used tune ecu with lonelec cable
